Welcome!
My bread and butter as a clinician is individual, client centered therapy because while it may be a cliche, I really do trust my clients as the experts in their own lives. During our work together I’ll ask you to walk me through the story of your life and how that’s affecting you right now so that together, we can deepen your understanding of where you’re at and where we go from here.
For me it’s incredibly important that my personality and my lived experiences inform the work I do with my clients- “blank slate therapy” is my worst nightmare.
In our current political climate, it’s more important than ever that therapy be not just a place of healing but a place of community and humanity too.
As a queer, neurodivergent person from an immigrant family, I help folks work through the stress and trauma caused by inequity and marginalization from a place of professional expertise and personal understanding. Generational trauma, oppression, and prejudice can leave an impact that feels overwhelming to tackle so we’ll take the journey one step at a time.
In my personal time I enjoy time spent with my husband and our pets (who I obviously birthed because they’re our babies), going for runs, and playing D&D with my friends. I love reading, a cute little crafting moment or deep diving into my latest special interest.
Credentials
Despite the fact that almost no one chooses a therapist based on where they went to school, it is still best practice to tell you where I I received my degrees and what my credentials are.
I earned my bachelor’s in social work in 2017 and my master’s in social work in 2018, both from Arizona State University. I went on to work under a supervisor in a private practice setting where I was trained in several modalities including Psychodynamic, Brief Solution Focused, Rogerian, Structural Family Systems, and Narrative Therapies. I’ve been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or LCSW, since 2022 in Arizona and 2025 in Florida.
